Tangled

After seeing Tangled, I was overwhelmed with joy and excitement. The movie captured my child-like imagination. For the first time in many many years, I was 5 year old boy at the movie with eyes shining with wonder. There were moments that made me laugh like I had no care in the world, there were moments that made me cry because of its innocent beauty, and there were moments that made me feel warm and happy inside. I felt like I was that 5 year old boy again. It was wonderful to know that I am still the boy I remember. When I was young, I used to watch Disney movies. They transported me to the fairy tale world of princesses and princes, magic and wonder filled with happiness and music. I was able to let my imagination take flight and soar freely in vast and infinite possibilities. It was very special for me to be able to do that again because I had almost forgotten it and I never want this feeling to go away. I was going to analyse every possible details of this film from its story and characters to music and theme, but I realised that it is pointless. Tangled was one of the most beautiful film I had ever seen and that was it.

-seph-

Most beautiful, free-spirited and strong-willed Rapunzel with her invincible frying pan

Superhumanly handsome and dashing Flynn Rider

Incredibly loyal cute and lovable Pascal the Chameleon

fiercely dedicated and determined horse Maximus

Every element that made Tangled such a great film was what made all the other Disney's films such as The Little Mermaid so great. Tangled kept the best of Disney's wonderful legacies and brought it to the modern world. Tangled was one of the most beautifully animated and just wonderfully realised film I have ever seen. Everything was so lush and refined. It was a real visual treat. I also have to say that the original music by Alan Menken was comparable to the musics of other Disney's classics.
